Saverio Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 10 minutes, Samuel Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El meson Hostigado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Ponce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Alonzo Abaurre could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Efrain Fagondo however easily saved by the left post. After 15 played minutes El meson Hostigado got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Praski. The long shot by Eduardo Cordarrol in the 16th minute really tested Efrain Fagondo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 18 minutes into the match, El meson Hostigado's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Abaurre came free, but Efrain Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes El meson Hostigado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduardo Cordarrol who took care of the corner kick. Eduardo Cordarrol made a great header on Catalina WM's corner, it was just that El meson Hostigado's Efrain Fagondo managed to reach the ball for a save. El meson Hostigado's Severo Fonso got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Ponce hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Severo Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Vellito came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Efrain Fagondo could save by the left post. Severo Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Saverio Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Orlo to make the kick off. If Dawid Praski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Orlo in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Severo Fonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. El meson Hostigado's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Fonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Saverio Garcia made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Fonso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saverio Garcia. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of El meson Hostigado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Catalina WM:s goal. In the 66th minute, Eduardo Cordarrol made a precise shot to the right of Efrain Fagondo. El meson Hostigado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Efrain Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Orlo in the 70th minute of play. El meson Hostigado's Cristobal Gaur suffered a concussion after 70 minutes and had to leave the field. When Leon Vellito fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catalina WM's protests and gave Leon Vellito a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Catalina WM's Leon Vellito got a free kick in the 71st minute. Severo Fonso took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saverio Garcia. Saverio Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Saverio Garcia was a little too slow when Severo Fonso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-4. Efrain Fagondo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Catalina WM's Amadeo Orlo. But to his dismay, Amadeo Orlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. 98 minutes into the match, El meson Hostigado's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Orlo came free, but Efrain Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El meson Hostigado's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
