After a rather tough play, Fragueiro's Lisandro Cayo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Joaquin Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Valdemar Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robustiano Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Justo Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CLUB MAITEY CERES's Valdemar Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Clodio in the 39th minute of play. Valdemar Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Tipi's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. A long shot from Placido Dodorol in the 42nd minute of play was well struck, but Christian Seme made a really good save at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Clodio to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, CLUB MAITEY CERES's Placido Dodorol seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Placido Dodorol the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CLUB MAITEY CERES protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Placido Dodorol had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CLUB MAITEY CERES! Lisandro Cayo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 60 played minutes CLUB MAITEY CERES got a freekick which was hit by Placido Rosalio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Tipi in the 62nd minute of play forced CLUB MAITEY CERES's goalkeeper Valdemar Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CLUB MAITEY CERES's Gerardo Baldovino got a free kick in the 64th minute. Justo Clodio might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdemar Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justo Clodio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Honorio Tirso fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fragueiro's protests and gave Honorio Tirso a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fragueiro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Christian Seme went to the wrong direction when Tiburcio Jago was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Christian Seme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 72 in the game by Justo Clodio from a close distance when the talented Valdemar Ribeiro managed to make a qualified save. CLUB MAITEY CERES's players were relieved. 76 minutes into the match, Fragueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Frans came free, but Christian Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Tipi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Valdemar Ribeiro made a huge save. Justo Clodio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Fragueiro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 90 played minutes Fragueiro got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Cayo. Honorio Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, CLUB MAITEY CERES's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Tipi came free, but Valdemar Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 100th match minute, CLUB MAITEY CERES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 101st minute, Joaquin Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fragueiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Walme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Fragueiro players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
