After a rather tough play, A dos toques's Haroldo Figueroa got a free kick in the 21st minute. Gogo Gar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Rocendo in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Salvador Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Ortle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codruț Cândreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 played minutes, A dos toques's Mateo Berasko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gogo Gar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A dos toques reached it. Higinio Obeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gogo Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Benjamin Rocendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Cândreanu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. In the 47th minute, Benjamin Rocendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Codruț Cândreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gogo Gar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Rocendo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Benjamin Rocendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Codruț Cândreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Hendzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the A dos toques players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vila AFC.
