Ulises Ekaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Lucero came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Urbano Palos could save by the left post. After 17 played minutes LA LOCA ACADEMIA got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Feo. 24 minutes into the match, YOLANDA FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor de Castro came free, but Ulises Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Ernesto Valente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA LOCA ACADEMIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Wilfredo Lucero came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the YOLANDA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Lucero couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 55th minute, LA LOCA ACADEMIA's Paolo Oliviero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paolo Oliviero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LA LOCA ACADEMIA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paolo Oliviero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Paolo Oliviero hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, YOLANDA FC's Adolfo Enetz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urbano Palos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in YOLANDA FC reached it. Ildefonso Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Ekaitz having to interfere. Urbano Palos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Leopoldo Eutropio took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Palos. Urbano Palos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Santiago Bartolome kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. YOLANDA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Ildefonso Edorta scored to the left of an out of position Ulises Ekaitz, making the score, 1-3. 77 minutes into the game, YOLANDA FC's Leopoldo Eutropio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Palos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Ulises Ekaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Vítor de Castro in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, LA LOCA ACADEMIA's Ildefonso Edorta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ulises Ekaitz. Ulises Ekaitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After 88 minutes of play, YOLANDA FC's Leopoldo Eutropio made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Palos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute Ildefonso Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LA LOCA ACADEMIA's Urbano Palos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Bartolome in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, LA LOCA ACADEMIA's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Eutropio came free, but Urbano Palos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LA LOCA ACADEMIA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
