Javier Txatxu's late challenge caught a Gregorio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Txatxu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gregorio FC booed when Carrizalillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Medina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Elpidio Dubardo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carrizalillo's Alonzo Medina was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mario Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Alonzo Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrizalillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Alonzo Medina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gregorio FC's Elpidio Dubardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Gregorio FC's Miguel Egoi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Elpidio Dubardo came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Carrizalillo's Alonzo Medina. But to his dismay, Alonzo Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 24th minute Prudencio Bizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gregorio FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Modesto Matthew placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Armando Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Gregorio FC's Saul Damario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Tartalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 43rd minute, Miguel Egoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gregorio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Prudencio Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Aristides Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Matthew, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Alonzo Medina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Dubardo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 2-3 became the score in the 61st minute when Prudencio Bizi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Prudencio Bizi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Aristides Tartalo made a huge save. Prudencio Bizi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Aristides Tartalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Simon Hegoi charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Hegoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Simon Hegoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Bizi came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aristides Tartalo could save by the left post. The supporters of Gregorio FC booed when Carrizalillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Tartalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Harkaitz in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Gregorio FC defense, Alonzo Medina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Dubardo. The Gregorio FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Dubardo should have stopped the shot. Miguel Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aristides Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio FC's Elpidio Dubardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Medina in the 82nd minute of play. Lorenzo Mirande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aristides Tartalo. Carrizalillo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alonzo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Dubardo having to interfere. After 93 played minutes, Gregorio FC's Lorenzo Mirande shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristides Tartalo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gregorio FC reached it. If Miguel Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carrizalillo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
