Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) La Pachorra's Namık Yelmen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niceto Jerano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciriaco Araoz having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Gualterio Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 17 minutes, Ciro Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Caldera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Xabier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ramon Estavan fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Pachorra's protests and gave Ramon Estavan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, La Pachorra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Estavan to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, La Pachorra's goalkeeper Celso Verdeja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Polo. Ciriaco Araoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Verdeja made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Pascual Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd match minute, La Caldera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Santana to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Arnaldo Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Araoz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Caldera's goalkeeper Ciriaco Araoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, La Caldera's goal looked a bit too open when Namık Yelmen came free, but Ciriaco Araoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Fernandes in the 94th minute of play forced La Caldera's goalkeeper Ciriaco Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Verdeja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Llorenc in the 96th minute of play. The La Pachorra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Pachorra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
