Maximiliano Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Balendin, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Matará's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Savion came free, but Maximiliano Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laureano Rumaldo got free with Narciso Millan in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Anastasio Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Balendin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Paulo Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximiliano Juvenal. Matará's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Teo Nevada charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Nevada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Narciso Millan was a little too slow when Laureano Rumaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Narciso Millan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Roberts's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Laureano Rumaldo scored to the left of an out of position Narciso Millan, making the score, 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Anastasio Normando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Narciso Millan, 3-1. With an all-out effort, Matará's Narciso Millan threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anastasio Normando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 54thth minute of the game Laureano Rumaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roberts's Narciso Millan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Balendin in the 60th minute of play forced Matará's goalkeeper Maximiliano Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Roberts got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Jakobe. When Matará's Laureano Rumaldo in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roberts's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th minute, Gilberto Savion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gregorio Ospetsu took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Millan. Narciso Millan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 71st match minute, Matará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Ospetsu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Roberts defense, Laureano Rumaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Millan. The Roberts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Millan should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Ospetsu in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Millan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Roberts's zone, Anastasio Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Millan came out of the goal and Anastasio Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laureano Rumaldo scored 6-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Millan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Roberts's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Rumaldo came free, but Narciso Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Millan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Ospetsu went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Matará's Maximiliano Juvenal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Matará from getting a goal against them. Laureano Rumaldo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Dario Gabrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Matará players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
