Angelino Gitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jacinto Bernebe made a huge save. Enrique Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Leoncio in the 39th minute of the match. Enrique Egoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Feliz in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Gilberto Oihenarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Bernebe having to interfere.
