When Nicolas Procopio came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Girondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Procopio couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Cipriano Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Galo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Egoi having to make a save. Enrique Egoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Enrique Egoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Egoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Acevedo in the 29th minute. Clodoveo Ur's late challenge caught a Girondo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Acevedo got free with Enrique Egoi in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Edvard Hjelm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Girondo's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Galo came free, but Enrique Egoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
If Nicolas Procopio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Silvanito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Procopio in the 57th minute of play. Enrique Egoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Galo in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Jaroslav Klír notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Girondo's Enrique Egoi. Enrique Egoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute Julian Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Girondo's Enrique Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Acevedo in the 90th minute of play. Nicolas Procopio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Silvanito having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Real DaniCotito A.F.'s Julian Galo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Egoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real DaniCotito A.F. had played much better football throughout.
