The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Isias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Benjamin Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes, Brugo AFC's Roque Gaitan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santo Isias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brugo AFC reached it. Fredric Mickelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Lauren in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Tehuelches FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Ibañez to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Tehuelches FC defense, Benjamin Ondino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Isias. The Tehuelches FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Isias should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

A hard shot by Roque Gaitan from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Santo Isias's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Brugo AFC's Fernando Miliano got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gabriel Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brugo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Bieito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Isias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Brugo AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
