Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorio Ferdinand started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Nunez Javiar got a free kick in the 4th minute. Cornelio Bingen made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Marciano Gaspard sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 15 minutes, Honorio Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 played minutes Sumampa AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Mazuste. Independiente's Cornelio Bingen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. Edgardo Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Independiente's German Urbasa got a free kick in the 25th minute. Filiberto Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cornelio Bingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Independiente's Cornelio Bingen got control of the ball when Ricardo Blasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornelio Bingen was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Edgardo Milian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgardo Milian really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Blasco got free with Cornelio Bingen in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Independiente's Cornelio Bingen got control of the ball when Filiberto Cristofor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filiberto Cristofor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 44th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Milian to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sumampa AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Bruno Javiero hit a great ball. The supporters of Independiente booed when Sumampa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Sumampa AFC's Edgardo Milian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Bingen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Edgardo Milian notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Independiente's Cornelio Bingen. Cornelio Bingen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Cristofor came free, but Cornelio Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Milian in the 66th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Cornelio Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Dante Unai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Unai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Galtero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Galtero having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Edgardo Milian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Bingen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Cornelio Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Milian in the 77th minute of play. Independiente's Cornelio Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Javiero in the 79th minute of play. Sumampa AFC's Edgardo Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nunez Javiar charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Javiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Nunez Javiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sumampa AFC's Filiberto Cristofor got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Milian in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sumampa AFC's zone, Honorio Ferdinand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Galtero came out of the goal and Honorio Ferdinand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Independiente's Cornelio Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Milian in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Milian came free, but Cornelio Bingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Sumampa AFC were the better team. Sumampa AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
