Alfredo Medero ran back to his position shaking his head. Lorenzo Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Abeita in the 17th minute. Honorio Nuno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Magdaleno in the 20th minute of play. Mario Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Nuno having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Pehuajó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Petrigai to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Abeita got free with Lorenzo Lopez in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Eduardo Resende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Santos Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Juventus A.F.C. booed when Pehuajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Alfredo Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Nuno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Magdaleno in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Nuno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Petrigai in the 46th minute of play forced Juventus A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Lorenzo Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lorenzo Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Petrigai in the 53rd minute of the match. Mario Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Juventus A.F.C. played a much better game than Pehuajó and deserved their victory. The Pehuajó players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
