After 7 played minutes Chacarita got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Paulin. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Sayveon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Bernebe was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. A hard shot 13 in the game by Flavio Azeari from a close distance when the talented Segundo Bernebe managed to make a qualified save. Chacarita's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Anselmo Sayveon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Segundo Bernebe. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. After 25 minutes, Remigio Kimetz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alastair and the Chacarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute of the match Cecilio Jesco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Mikolas skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Anselmo Sayveon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Segundo Bernebe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Flavio Azeari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Bernebe having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Alastair's Flavio Azeari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Bernebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita's zone, Flavio Azeari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Bernebe came out of the goal and Flavio Azeari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Rafe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Segundo Bernebe. Chacarita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Chacarita's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flavio Azeari fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Sayveon to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play Alastair's Remigio Kimetz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Alastair getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Remigio Kimetz hit a great ball. Flavio Azeari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Segundo Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Alastair was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Beat to maneuver through the defense. Severino Araoz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Flavio Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anselmo Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santiago Mikolas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Mark in the 94th minute.
