In the 9th minute Carlos Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 姚耀霆 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 姚耀霆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Shepherd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Gualicho Cruz Diablo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Lesardo to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Shepherd. Carlos Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Olimpia booed when Gualicho Cruz Diablo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Isidro Porfirio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Olimpia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Porfirio couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Carlos Lluterio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gualicho Cruz Diablo's 姚耀霆. 姚耀霆 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nesho Dimitrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Americo Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nesho Dimitrov made a kick off. Cirilo Aztore missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 52 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Americo Madaleno right hand side. Carlos Lluterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. 姚耀霆 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Gualicho Cruz Diablo's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Lluterio came free, but 姚耀霆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Madaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 77 minutes, Cirilo Aztore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gualicho Cruz Diablo and the Olimpia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Cirilo Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nesho Dimitrov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Olimpia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leonardo Walme hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Felipe Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gualicho Cruz Diablo's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Madaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Nesho Dimitrov notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Olimpia's Americo Madaleno. Americo Madaleno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
