A collision led to Chapelco getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Raimundo Bastian hit a great ball. With a little luck, Chapelco's Poul Magn got control of the ball when Lucio Barto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casimiro Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Alonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Tadzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Freddy Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Albano Frasquito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Ignado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th minute, Modesto Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rauf Tanyıldız in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Modesto Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rauf Tanyıldız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Ignado having to interfere. Lucio Barto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Poul Magn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Isaias Gustau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Salvador Paublo got a free kick in the 41st minute. Albano Frasquito struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Casimiro Ignado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapelco. 46 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Frasquito came free, but Casimiro Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Frasquito was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Chapelco getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Freddy Tadzio hit a great ball. Poul Magn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Gustau in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Casimiro Ignado got control of the ball when Albano Frasquito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casimiro Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Bastian in the 68th minute of the match. Boca Juniors were furious when Salvador Paublo was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 69 minutes into the game, one of Boca Juniors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Chapelco. Albano Frasquito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Casimiro Ignado. 0-2. Ramiro Ganix kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Chapelco's Albano Frasquito in action when he in the 77th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Chapelco's Albano Frasquito got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poul Magn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Boca Juniors's Ramiro Ganix pulled a muscle in his leg after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 89 minutes, Albano Frasquito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chapelco and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Boca Juniors's Paulo Bittor was substituted for Ramiro Ganix. Albano Frasquito hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Gustau in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Poul Magn saved Chapelco from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Chapelco left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boca Juniors.
