Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaias Gustau kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when C. A. Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Lucio Barto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 24th play minutes Lucio Barto shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Santo Fonso and just under the crossbar into goal. Casimiro Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Santo Fonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Gustau went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Lucio Barto came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Barto couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Severino Llorian got a free kick in the 36th minute. Eliseo Abaurre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Santo Fonso made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Chesus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Haroldo Chesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Fonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Barto in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ciriaco Nafarroa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casimiro Ignado. The goal made the score 4-1. Boca Juniors's Casimiro Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Chesus in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Boca Juniors's Maximiliano Gabrio got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Gustau in the 65th minute of play forced C. A. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Santo Fonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Modesto Ramirez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Lucio Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Santo Fonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, C. A. Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Barto came free, but Santo Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Salvador Paublo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Frasco hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
