Nunez Tartalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pipo. Felix Solustiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Veremundo in the 11th minute of the match. Felix Solustiano came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Mantero's Ignacio Veremundo. But to his dismay, Ignacio Veremundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 45th minute, Alfredo Isias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Primitivo Santio lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Deportivo Pipo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mantero:s goal. The goalkeeper, Felix Solustiano, was totally fooled by Mantero's Geronimo Furtado, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 96th match minute, Deportivo Pipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Isias to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Rik in the 99th minute of play forced Deportivo Pipo's goalkeeper Felix Solustiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
