After a defensive mix-up in Energía's zone, Emanuel Valery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Vimaro came out of the goal and Emanuel Valery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Emanuel Valery made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Vimaro. Energía's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Roberto Vimaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Valery, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Jose Liberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Valery in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute Jose Liberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Liberto in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Vimaro saved Energía from getting behind. Roberto Vimaro was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Emanuel Valery capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Valery really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Leandro Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Energía's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Perfecto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Senio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
