Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dragoş Gherdan kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Pierres during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo AFC's Aureliano Pierres got a free kick in the 13th minute. Reynaldo Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Gherdan in the 16th minute of the match. When Chimborazo AFC's Dragoş Gherdan in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ernesto Taurino hit a great ball. The supporters of Mascasín AFC booed when Chimborazo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Chimborazo AFC defense, Ernesto Firmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Petri. The Chimborazo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Petri should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Domingo Eufemio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reynaldo Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Cugat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chimborazo AFC's Rene Kaljuvee got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 方适诚 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dragoş Gherdan in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Berdaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th match minute, Mascasín AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Marz to maneuver through the defense. Donato Cugat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes Chimborazo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Raphael. Reynaldo Berdaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Cugat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Petri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Firmo in the 65th minute of play. Ernesto Firmo scored 2-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Petri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Chimborazo AFC booed when Mascasín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Sansone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Berdaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Cugat in the 78th minute of the match. With his leg Reynaldo Berdaitz managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Chimborazo AFC's Dragoş Gherdan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 84 minutes Mascasín AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rene Kaljuvee who took care of the corner kick. Chimborazo AFC's Rene Kaljuvee was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reynaldo Berdaitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mascasín AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
