Domingos Joey hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, NICOFIA's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Igon came free, but Alfonso Rolado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Viator hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Silvano Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alfonso Rolado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, NICOFIA's Florencio Kelemen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Silvano Igon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NICOFIA's Alfonso Rolado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes of play, NICOFIA's Joaquin Cordera made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lisandro Fidensio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Fidensio having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Mario Crispo made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Fidensio. Museo del Ascenso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Vinicio Tximitx was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Museo del Ascenso's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 64th minute Joaquin Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Cordera in the 65th minute of the match. If Joaquin Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Museo del Ascenso's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Cordera came free, but Lisandro Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Joaquin Cordera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Fidensio. Museo del Ascenso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Cordera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With an all-out effort, Museo del Ascenso's Alfonso Rolado threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvano Igon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 84th minute Joaquin Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Museo del Ascenso's Lisandro Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Cordera in the 85th minute of play. If Joaquin Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that NICOFIA were the better team. NICOFIA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
