Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Narciso Luix took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Ceibal FC's Tadeo Hegoi got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Stegmann got a corner. Ceibal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Peru ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Fulgencio Orkatz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Narciso Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Honorato Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Luix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Honorato Escobar managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Stegmann's Claudio Mateo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Narciso Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Honorato Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Lamberto having to interfere. Blas Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Lamberto having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Claudio Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stegmann's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Mateo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Escobar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narciso Luix did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Honorato Escobar 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ceibal FC booed when Stegmann was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Rik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Honorato Escobar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the game, Fulgencio Orkatz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Isidoro Beturian fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceibal FC's protests and gave Isidoro Beturian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Ceibal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Beturian to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes, Mateo Havier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceibal FC and the Stegmann players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ceibal FC! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Stegmann. Sebastian Peru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Honorato Escobar. 2-0. Claudio Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Gai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Ceibal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Mateo came free, but Honorato Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Claudio Mateo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Escobar was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stegmann. Claudio Mateo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Escobar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Claudio Mateo made a precise shot to the right of Honorato Escobar. Ceibal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Stegmann walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
