The Baños FC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Baños FC's Diego Gonza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th minute, Orlando Min ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Marz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The throw-in from Carolo Bermudo in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Picapiedras F.C's Jeremias Haritz. In the 33rdth minute of the game Albino Romano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baños FC's Reynaldo Marz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Jeremias Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picapiedras F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Picapiedras F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Baños FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Baños FC's Jimeno Cruz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Camilo Ignazio. A hard shot 44 in the game by Diego Gonza from a close distance when the talented Camilo Ignazio managed to make a qualified save. Picapiedras F.C's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albino Romano to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes, Picapiedras F.C's Filomeno Nesto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynaldo Marz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Picapiedras F.C reached it. After 56 minutes, Honorio Ponce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baños FC and the Picapiedras F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Picapiedras F.C booed when Baños FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Veremundo scored 4-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Ignazio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albino Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Marz having to interfere. Jairo Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Ignazio having to interfere. Reynaldo Marz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Romano's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute, Carolo Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baños FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
