Arsenio Farias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonides Perpinya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Dalmacio Tulio came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Troyanos FC's Gregorio Haitz. But to his dismay, Gregorio Haitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ovidio Sanson charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Sanson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rumiyaco FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ovidio Sanson hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Troyanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Perpinya came free, but Arsenio Farias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Haitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Celedonio Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rumiyaco FC booed when Troyanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Troyanos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rumiyaco FC the free kick.
