When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Emilio Dolfos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Erubiel Endura to make any attempt to save it. Celso Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Endura having to interfere. Necochea's Erubiel Endura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Necochea from getting a goal against them. After 18 minutes, Cipriano Fanuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Necochea and the Janta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erubiel Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Leon Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Jakobe in the 22nd minute of the match. Erubiel Endura was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Celso Ilazki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celso Ilazki really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Necochea's Erubiel Endura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Necochea from getting a goal against them. Santiago Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Dolfos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Janta AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 39th minute Santiago Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Remicio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janta AFC's Leon Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Bidari in the 41st minute of play. Leon Remicio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Jakobe in the 47th minute of play forced Janta AFC's goalkeeper Leon Remicio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luisito Jakobe made the kick off in the second half. If Celso Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Luisito Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Remicio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Janta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Jakobe came free, but Leon Remicio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Necochea got a corner. Janta AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carmelo Caetano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carmelo Caetano made a great header on Necochea's corner, it was just that Janta AFC's Leon Remicio managed to reach the ball for a save. Janta AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Leonides Bidari scored to the left of an out of position Leon Remicio, making the score, 2-1. The supporters of Janta AFC booed when Necochea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Ilazki in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Endura saved Necochea from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Necochea's Luisito Jakobe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leon Remicio. Leon Remicio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The Janta AFC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Janta AFC's Celso Ilazki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leon Remicio made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Leonides Bidari sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano Fanuco got free with Leon Remicio in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Bidari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Leon Remicio made a huge save. Santiago Abar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leon Remicio came out and tried to block the shot, but Santiago Abar slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 89th minute. Leon Remicio was a little too slow when Luisito Jakobe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 4-4. In the 96th play minute Leonides Bidari came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leon Remicio. 4-5. The Necochea players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
