Augusto Garci hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Miguel Vimaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Chochamus F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Augusto Garci managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Millobanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Garci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Silverio Edwardo made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Orlanda. Los Chochamus F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gaspar Orlanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute La Millobanda were awarded a corner. Ismael Giraldo went to the cornerflag to take it. La Millobanda's Donato Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Maurino in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Silverio Edwardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Orlanda. Los Chochamus F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silverio Edwardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Silverio Edwardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gaspar Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Los Chochamus F.C. defense, Silverio Edwardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Orlanda. The Los Chochamus F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Orlanda should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Edwardo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Orlanda saved Los Chochamus F.C. from getting behind. Ismael Giraldo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaspar Orlanda firmly grabbed it by the left post. Froilan Maurino took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Eder. Donato Eder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The audience was convinced that Silverio Edwardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Orlanda was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Gaspar Orlanda made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Silverio Edwardo sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Vimaro's late challenge caught a La Millobanda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Vimaro helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Los Chochamus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Vimaro. 87 minutes into the game, Froilan Maurino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Donato Eder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Garci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Miguel Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Orlanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Garci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Los Chochamus F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite La Millobanda having more of the ball for most of the match.
