After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna AFC's zone, Candido Perrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Federigo came out of the goal and Candido Perrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Leonardo Federigo managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Ovara's Jaime Stanislao fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute Leonides Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Ovara got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Lop. In the 45th minute, Jaime Stanislao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jaime Stanislao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Jesus Gaueko scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Federigo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristobal Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Federigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
