Federico Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Duardo having to interfere. A collision led to Club A. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 29 minutes into the match, Club A. Excursionistas's goalkeeper Benigno Tabor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Viviano. 32 minutes into the match, Bernardino Onbera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Tabor. Club A. Excursionistas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Onbera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Federico Torres notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Barrow AFC's Anacleto Duardo. Anacleto Duardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Sorin Enescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anacleto Duardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Federico Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Anacleto Duardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Shantala was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Serafino Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Tabor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Duardo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Federico Torres sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Honorato Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A. Excursionistas's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Telesforo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Duardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Club A. Excursionistas's Sorin Enescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Duardo. Anacleto Duardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Sorin Enescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Ciro Caetano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club A. Excursionistas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrow AFC the free kick. After 83 played minutes Club A. Excursionistas got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Caetano. Federico Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anacleto Duardo having to make a save.
