The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atlètico Gualeguaychù. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Anibal Orzaize got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anibal Orzaize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Orlondo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Anibal Orzaize sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Laureano Noe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Orlondo, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Anibal Orzaize got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Alfred Szel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Orlondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Orzaize in the 24th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damaso Marz made a kick off. Atlètico Gualeguaychù's Everardo Iratxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Atlètico Gualeguaychù from getting a goal against them. Diego Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Orzaize in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Atlètico Gualeguaychù's Laureano Noe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Orlondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Laureano Noe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Iratxo having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Leonel Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Anibal Orzaize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Rosado hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match Atlètico Gualeguaychù got a corner. ZARATE CIUDAD GOTICA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo Endira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nereo Florin tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Diego Orlondo. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-0 in the 86th minute. Atlètico Gualeguaychù's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
