In the 75th minute, Rafael Ekain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Monteverde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Mattin got free with Ivan Rayman in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Deportivo Monteverde's Ivan Rayman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Barbosa in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Deportivo Monteverde's Rafael Ekain made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
