The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Huinganco AFC's Aurelio Martxot got a free kick in the 8th minute. Bonifacio Todor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silvestre Gar firmly grabbed it by the left post. But to his dismay, Pastor Hernando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Aurelio Martxot hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match, Bonifacio Todor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silvestre Gar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Silvestre Gar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Hernando in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Huinganco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Martxot to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Todor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Silvestre Gar made a huge save. Aurelio Martxot charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Martxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Huinganco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Martxot to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Huinganco AFC's Zacarias Urbes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A hard shot by Rodrigo Frutos from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Silvestre Gar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ulises Eleder scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Acuña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Gar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Americo Hanni in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Huinganco AFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Gar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Hanni. Silvestre Gar made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Bonifacio Todor sent off a good shot on target. Huinganco AFC's Aurelio Martxot got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered Aurelio Martxot off the ground. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, Florida's Conrado Acuña got control of the ball when Ulises Eleder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pastor Hernando might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Gar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Hernando ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Frutos's late challenge caught a Huinganco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Frutos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Huinganco AFC's Hermengildo Rocendo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ulises Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Acuña having to interfere. Hermengildo Rocendo lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Huinganco AFC! Rodrigo Frutos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 78 minutes, Amancio Martxelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huinganco AFC and the Florida players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amancio Martxelin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Rodrigo Frutos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Gar skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Amancio Martxelin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huinganco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Martxelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
