Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) CLUB ITALIANO's Omar Orlanda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Salvador Naike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Bernard in the 3rd minute of play. Adan Mikolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Truylos in the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Diego Pepillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Naike. Arauca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Pepillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Abel Guib ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Naike was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Luisito Cordarrell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Salvador Naike came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ITALIANO's Diego Pepillo. But to his dismay, Diego Pepillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Salvador Naike stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Orlanda's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Remigio Dunixi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adan Mikolas. CLUB ITALIANO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, CLUB ITALIANO's Julian Bernard made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador Naike was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Arauca's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Guib came free, but Salvador Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arauca's Salvador Naike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Guib in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Arauca getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Francisco Delfino hit a great ball. Salvador Naike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 39 minutes into the match, Maximo Truylos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adan Mikolas, 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Arauca's zone, Omar Orlanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Naike came out of the goal and Omar Orlanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Arauca's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Guib came free, but Salvador Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Naike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Palban in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisito Cordarrell to make the kick off. Omar Orlanda kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Truylos in the 55th minute of play forced CLUB ITALIANO's goalkeeper Adan Mikolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Diego Pepillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Naike made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Diego Pepillo sent off a good shot on target. Cipriano Bizen made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Arauca's Teo Silbestre. In the 68th match minute, CLUB ITALIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Guib to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Mikolas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Diego Pepillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salvador Naike. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 83rd minute Diego Pepillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Mikolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes, Amancio Gaizkine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arauca and the CLUB ITALIANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Arauca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Gaizkine to maneuver through the defense.
