The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Paolo Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pupol F.C.'s Americo Roano got a free kick in the 8th minute. Julian Mergildo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Amor. Sixto Amor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Constantino Erauso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sixto Amor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pupol F.C.'s Sixto Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Mergildo in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Julian Mergildo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sixto Amor to make any attempt to save it. Lino Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Banegas in the 32nd minute of the match. Marea Azulgrana's Lino Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Banegas in the 33rd minute of play. Lino Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Cunha in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Pupol F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Karlo. Sixto Amor was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Julian Mergildo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Mergildo really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Vito Cunha made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Pupol F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Americo Roano. Pupol F.C.'s Sixto Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Mergildo in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Mergildo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Amor saved Pupol F.C. from getting behind. Sixto Amor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantino Erauso went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When Pupol F.C.'s Vito Cunha in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marea Azulgrana's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Rio during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Marea Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Raul Rio. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Vito Cunha sped through Marea Azulgrana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Abel. After 71 minutes of play, Marea Azulgrana's Constantino Erauso made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Amor was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jairo Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Vito Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Polentzi in the 83rd minute of play forced Pupol F.C.'s goalkeeper Sixto Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Polentzi spun around in front of the goal 83 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pupol F.C.'s goal. There was no doubt that Marea Azulgrana were the better team. Marea Azulgrana's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
