Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Tricolor's Clemente Santio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clemente Santio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lino Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Paolo Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marea Azulgrana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Tricolor's Agustin Gamus got control of the ball when Constantino Erauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Marea Azulgrana getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Julian Mergildo hit a great ball. Constantino Erauso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Gamus having to make a save. The supporters of Marea Azulgrana booed when Tricolor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Errapel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Gamus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Constantino Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paolo Polentzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Gamus having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Erauso made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Remigio Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Gamus having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Erauso in the 62nd minute of play forced Tricolor's goalkeeper Agustin Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Rio kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Clemente Santio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Abel was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Paolo Polentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Constantino Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustin Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Polentzi in the 78th minute of the match. Julian Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Marea Azulgrana fully deserved thier win.
