Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benito Orain started the match with the kick off. Alonzo Quintun lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 3rd minute, one of Godoy FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Godoy FC. Fermin Guerrero acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ruperto Berriotxoa. Emiliano Acosta's late challenge caught a Lastra AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Acosta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Godoy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Acosta to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Godoy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Edorta came free, but Fermin Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Chap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Haritz in the 15th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Lastra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Montrel. After 24 minutes, Benito Orain made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lastra AFC's Prospero Chap tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Oidor in the 31st minute of play forced Godoy FC's goalkeeper Fermin Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Espiridion took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prospero Chap. Prospero Chap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Godoy FC's Benito Orain got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Godoy FC booed when Lastra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Godoy FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lino Colon hit a great ball. Lino Colon hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Godoy FC defense, Honorio Clis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Guerrero. The Godoy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Guerrero should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Abad to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Zeledon Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Godoy FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Honorio Precioso hit a great ball. Fermin Guerrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Edorta went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Niceto Haritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 70 minutes, Benito Orain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godoy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Orain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godoy FC's Fermin Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Abad in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Lastra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Orain came free, but Prospero Chap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Edorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Lastra AFC's Aaron Oidor made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Guerrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Orain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Chap having to make a save. A collision led to Lastra AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Aaron Oidor hit a great ball. Benito Orain might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Chap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Orain ran back to his position shaking his head. Godoy FC's Amado Espiridion quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alberto Casado, made in the 96th minute of the game. Amado Espiridion's late challenge caught a Lastra AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Espiridion helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Godoy FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Amado Espiridion hit a great ball. Lastra AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Godoy FC for a fine match.
