Dionisio Llorienzo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Teodoro Illan sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Mangala's goalkeeper Dionisio Llorienzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Filomeno Izel put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dionisio Llorienzo. Filomeno Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes Atletico Mangala got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Steven. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Independiente had played much better football throughout.
