The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Ignado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Inko in the 7th minute of play forced el gran chaparral's goalkeeper Rolando Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Ignado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Inko's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Fernan Padro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 18th play minutes Silverio Celipe shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Rolando Ignado and just under the crossbar into goal. Rolando Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Celipe in the 20th minute of play. Ronny Nordström's late challenge caught a el gran chaparral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Nordström helped the player get up and apologised. Ronny Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When 柯正宁 fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored el gran chaparral's protests and gave 柯正宁 a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Normando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Juvenal in the 29th minute of play. Raimundo Sandaili was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rolando Ignado came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Linch's Silverio Celipe. But to his dismay, Silverio Celipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 38th minute, Leandro Inko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leandro Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Ignado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, el gran chaparral's Delmiro Gaspard got a free kick in the 44th minute. Victorio Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rolando Ignado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Silverio Celipe might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Ignado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silverio Celipe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute Victorio Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linch's Leandro Inko got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Inko in the 82nd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Linch players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
