Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sotelo's Ambrosio Vellito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnulfo Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mario Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Camilo Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Manantial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Cesario couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Manantial's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Vellito came free, but Mario Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sotelo booed when Manantial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hermengildo Lauren came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Sotelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Lauren couldn't finish the play. Arnulfo Aznaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Mario Domingues made a huge save. Arnulfo Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Domingues having to interfere. Antonio Prejun hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Manantial's Camilo Cesario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Enmanuel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hermengildo Lauren kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Arnulfo Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sotelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Aznaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Vellito in the 40th minute of play forced Manantial's goalkeeper Mario Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Manantial's zone, Arnulfo Aznaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Domingues came out of the goal and Arnulfo Aznaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ambrosio Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Cesario was the one to do the kick off. Sotelo's Higinio Enmanuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sotelo from getting a goal against them. Ambrosio Vellito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Manantial got a freekick which was hit by Benito Nel. When Sotelo's Ambrosio Vellito in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice moves Camilo Cesario could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Higinio Enmanuel however easily saved by the left post. After 86 played minutes Camilo Cesario rounded Sotelo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Ambrosio Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Sotelo booed when Manantial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Hermengildo Lauren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sotelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Lauren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
