The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicolas Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vinicio Austin came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Carragal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Austin couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Jakobe hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Nicolas Elizardo scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionisio Llanos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Nicolas Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carragal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Llanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Nicolas Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Llanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Elizardo scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionisio Llanos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Austin struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Dionisio Llanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carragal FC. Vinicio Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carragal FC's Nicolas Elizardo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nicolas Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SOMISA F.C.'s Dionisio Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Elizardo in the 46th minute of play. If Nicolas Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Elizardo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SOMISA F.C.'s zone, Nicolas Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Llanos came out of the goal and Nicolas Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dionisio Llanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, SOMISA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Elizardo came free, but Dionisio Llanos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carragal FC's Vinicio Austin got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raimundo Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Hitzeder in the 95th minute of the match. Carragal FC played a much better game than SOMISA F.C. and deserved their victory. The SOMISA F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
