Spectators: 7107 (Terracing: 5332, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arsenio Lore started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Arghâl's Melquiades Cruz got control of the ball when Severino Aimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Siro Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARG-CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Cordarrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albano Virila charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Virila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes ARG-CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Albano Virila. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovando Cienfuegos in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Elija saved ARG-CLUB from getting behind. In the 15th match minute, ARG-CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Virila to maneuver through the defense. When Ovando Cienfuegos came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Arghâl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovando Cienfuegos couldn't finish the play. During the 19th minute of the match Albano Virila completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albano Virila a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 19th minute, Albano Virila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Videl during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Arghâl booed when ARG-CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match João Simões sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Elija skillfully saved the ball. Ovando Cienfuegos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Elija having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as ARG-CLUB's Paulo Cordara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Cruz. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. Arsenio Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Simões during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Arghâl got a freekick which was hit by João Simões. The supporters of ARG-CLUB booed when Arghâl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ovando Cienfuegos made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ARG-CLUB's Rene Elija got control of the ball when João Simões tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, ARG-CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when João Simões came free, but Rene Elija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ARG-CLUB's Rene Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovando Cienfuegos in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Ovando Cienfuegos made a precise shot to the right of Rene Elija. ARG-CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. João Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Elija having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Arsenio Lore managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARG-CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Lore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenio Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovando Cienfuegos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Rene Elija when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If João Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 78 played minutes ARG-CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Lore. Rene Elija was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from João Simões. When Ovando Cienfuegos came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Arghâl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovando Cienfuegos couldn't finish the play. Rene Elija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovando Cienfuegos in the 83rd minute of the match. Cecilio Bizen kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, ARG-CLUB's goalkeeper Rene Elija had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovando Cienfuegos. After a rather tough play, Arghâl's Lorenzo Weterio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Severino Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ARG-CLUB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arghâl were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
