Spectators: 7085 (Terracing: 5315, Seating: 1629, VIP seats: 141) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ludomir Ziemniak got the match started through his kick off. Gaston Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Luar in the 5th minute of play. If Diego Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Ampascachi's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomir Ziemniak came free, but Javier Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Ampascachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Fernendo to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Diego Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Diego Luar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gaston Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Ludomir Ziemniak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Benvido was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, one of Ampascachi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ampascachi. Ludomir Ziemniak might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Benvido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludomir Ziemniak ran back to his position shaking his head. Javier Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Carvalho in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ampascachi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benedicto Jobo was slow to take the kick. During this time Funes's players had a chance to rest. 42 minutes into the match, Ampascachi's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomir Ziemniak came free, but Javier Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Nicholas came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ampascachi's Diego Luar. But to his dismay, Diego Luar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Ampascachi were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Jaume to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute David Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Melquiades Fernendo in the 60th minute really tested Gaston Nicholas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Funes's David Carvalho got a free kick in the 60th minute. Diego Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gaston Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludomir Ziemniak spun around in front of the goal 69 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ampascachi's goal. If Remo Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Eugenio Ibon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Funes getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. David Carvalho hit a great ball. Gaston Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Jaume in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Funes's goalkeeper Gaston Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Luar. If Diego Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute of the match Romeo Abel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Nicholas skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ampascachi's zone, Hernan Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Benvido came out of the goal and Hernan Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomir Ziemniak in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Diego Jaume recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Nicholas. Diego Jaume showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Funes lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
