The referee ignored Urizar's protests and gave Hernan Gil a yellow card for diving instead. Hernan Gil hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Pagomari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Vasco in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Urtun in the 5th minute of play forced Damian FC's goalkeeper Maximino Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Elivareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Paul having to interfere. Maximino Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Gil in the 10th minute of the match. Mateo Elivareo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Maximino Paul made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Damian FC's goalkeeper Maximino Paul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Elivareo. After a rather tough play, Damian FC's Angel Isauro got a free kick in the 14th minute. Maximino Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gil in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Urizar defense, Alfonso Luar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Pagomari. The Urizar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Pagomari should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Urizar getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hernan Gil hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Mateo Elivareo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maximino Paul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximino Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Urizar got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Elivareo. Maximino Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gil in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Vasco in the 30th minute of play forced Urizar's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Alfonso Luar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Camilo Orlandus, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Damian FC's goalkeeper Maximino Paul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Elivareo. In the 40th minute Siro Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Paul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd play minute Zeledon Olayo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximino Paul. 2-2. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Vasco was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Urizar got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Elivareo. The crowd rose to their feet as Damian FC's Leonardo Vasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Pagomari. That made the score 2-3 after 54 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Godofredo Urtun put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Maximino Paul. Hernan Gil scored 4-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Paul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernan Gil in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Paul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Alfonso Luar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rodrigo Pagomari, passed just outside the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Prospero Jacindo put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Urizar's Prospero Jacindo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Godofredo Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Maximino Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mateo Elivareo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Urizar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Elivareo couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Bernal struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Maximino Paul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urizar. After a defensive mix-up in Damian FC's zone, Mateo Elivareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Paul came out of the goal and Mateo Elivareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urizar's Godofredo Urtun got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernan Gil hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Pagomari was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jacinto das Neves. Urizar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Leonardo Vasco scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Pagomari, making the score, 4-4. Urizar were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
