Ferragro's Eusebio Orzaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Frans in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th play minute Jeronimo Erroman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arnaldo Paulin. 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Locademia's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Gaur came free, but Arnaldo Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Alejandro Gaur fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arnaldo Paulin, passed just outside the right post. If Jeronimo Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Gaur in the 35th minute of play forced Locademia's goalkeeper Arnaldo Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Locademia's goalkeeper Arnaldo Paulin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferragro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alejandro Gaur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anibal Frans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Gaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Alejandro Gaur scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Paulin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Locademia's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Gaur came free, but Arnaldo Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, José Carlos Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Gaur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Paulin was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jeronimo Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C. A.
