Venancio Ganix showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Victorino Remigio's late challenge caught a Mamaguita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Nereo Ursinos short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Eleuterio Cebo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eleuterio Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Ganix, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
