The Cebollar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Telesforo should have stopped the shot. Angelino Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Argi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Cordarrell hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Osvaldo Iraunkor made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cebollar's Celedonio Telesforo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celedonio Telesforo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Oscar Åkerman sent off a good shot on target. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Osvaldo Iraunkor made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Osvaldo Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Iraunkor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Telesforo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cebollar getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Prudencio Argi hit a great ball. Osvaldo Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Osvaldo Iraunkor fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo's protests and gave Osvaldo Iraunkor a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Baudelio came free, but Angelino Frantzes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cebollar booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Frantzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Baudelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Dursun Nadi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Celedonio Telesforo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Iraunkor went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Osvaldo Iraunkor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Lorenzo had played much better football throughout.
