If Kurt Wallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Madeo in the 19th minute of play. Jesus Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesus Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of C.A. Peñarol de Bulnes booed when Atlético Viamonte F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Panfilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Wallander who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Jesus Aritza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gregorio Madeo succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prudencio Juvenal made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Atlético Viamonte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Panfilo. Desiderio Hanot was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jesus Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Madeo in the 58th minute of the match. Jesus Aritza came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Peñarol de Bulnes's Gregorio Madeo. But to his dismay, Gregorio Madeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. C.A. Peñarol de Bulnes's Desiderio Hanot couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atlético Viamonte F.C. 69 minutes into the game, C.A. Peñarol de Bulnes's Gregorio Madeo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Aritza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. C.A. Peñarol de Bulnes's Kurt Wallander got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amado Afonso fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Viamonte F.C's protests and gave Amado Afonso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Lucas Panfilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Hanot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jesus Aritza. Atlético Viamonte F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jesus Aritza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Wallander's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Jesus Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Wallander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gregorio Madeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Peñarol de Bulnes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Madeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Aritza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kurt Wallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jesus Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
