In the 21st minute Frye González shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Gamba Osaka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frye González came free, but Filiberto Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frye González in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Froila saved Gamba Osaka FC from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Frye González had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiberto Froila. Gamba Osaka FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frye González was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ciriaco Cordearo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Valiente stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gamba Osaka FC's Filiberto Froila got control of the ball when Frye González tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Frye González who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gamba Osaka FC's Filiberto Froila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Atalanta B.C.'s Frye González dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Lisandro Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Valiente in the 68th minute of play. Gamba Osaka FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Frye González scored to the left of an out of position Filiberto Froila, making the score, 1-6. 73 minutes into the game, Frye González lined in a short shot 1-7 behind a frustrated Filiberto Froila. Frye González charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frye González the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frye González kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Atalanta B.C.'s Paulino Crescencio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Atalanta B.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Rosalio. Filiberto Froila didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 1-9. 94 minutes into the game, Frye González recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filiberto Froila. Frye González showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. Atalanta B.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
