If Osvaldo Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernabe Jerico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Vistruario's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Corpen getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Adrian Argina hit a great ball. 34 minutes in the game Justo Rey did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Celestino Rosio. If Osvaldo Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Defensores de la Boca's Eustaquio Galindo got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some careless play in the Corpen defense, Osvaldo Dolcet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe Jerico. The Corpen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabe Jerico should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Bernabe Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Dolcet in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th minute, Cristobal Vistruario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernabe Jerico was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Defensores de la Boca's Cristobal Vistruario got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Corpen's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Dolcet came free, but Bernabe Jerico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Corpen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enzo Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Buinton having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Enzo Abecia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
