Spectators: 7092 (Terracing: 5320, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 141) Chacarita Juniors's Nicasio Reno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cornelio Salvator didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Abad went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Cornelio Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Claris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chacarita Juniors's Cornelio Salvator got control of the ball when Marcial Abad tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chacarita Juniors's Cornelio Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Dunixi in the 15th minute of play. Nicasio Reno took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Chayo. Hugo Chayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Emiliano Madaleno fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calafate's protests and gave Emiliano Madaleno a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when Calafate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Madaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Dunixi in the 27th minute of the match. Emiliano Madaleno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cornelio Salvator. Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Aristides Dunixi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cornelio Salvator, 2-1. Cornelio Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Dunixi in the 37th minute of play. Bonifacio Gonsalve's late challenge caught a Calafate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Gonsalve helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Juniors's Bonifacio Gonsalve got a free kick in the 38th minute. Marcial Abad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Salvator read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Cornelio Salvator had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Abad. Cornelio Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Dunixi in the 44th minute of the match. Chacarita Juniors's Cornelio Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Abad in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Celedonio Kaxen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cornelio Salvator. The goal made the score 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Cornelio Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Gualterio Claris notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Chacarita Juniors's Cornelio Salvator. Cornelio Salvator was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Gualterio Claris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Salvator was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Cornelio Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Abad in the 78th minute of the match. Cornelio Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Gualterio Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Salvator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Salvator came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Calafate's Marcial Abad. But to his dismay, Marcial Abad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 95th minute Aristides Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Salvator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calafate's Aristides Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Abad in the 98th minute of the match.
