When Cerro Norte's Alfonso Bertin in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Silverio Romo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerro Norte. Israel Ubarna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Silverio Romo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfonso Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Silverio Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Victorino Garaona made the kick off in the second half. Silverio Romo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerro Norte's Alfonso Bertin. But to his dismay, Alfonso Bertin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Silverio Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Bertin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Tadeo Corderall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CABEZA DE TERMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerro Norte the free kick. The supporters of Cerro Norte booed when CABEZA DE TERMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Corderall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Silverio Romo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
