The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Coihueco FC's Celedonio Silban got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Coihueco FC's Efrain Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Llanos in the 3rd minute of play. Rosendo Oliverios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludovico Rohn in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Azeari in the 14th minute of play forced Coihueco FC's goalkeeper Efrain Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Coihueco FC's Danilo Birila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Oliverios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ludovico Rohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Ceballos got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Txeru. Baldomiro Abancens struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Rosendo Oliverios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coihueco FC. A hard shot by Tomás Telo from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Efrain Vergaray's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rosendo Oliverios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludovico Rohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Ludovico Rohn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludovico Rohn charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludovico Rohn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Coihueco FC got a freekick which was hit by Ludovico Rohn. Efrain Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Azeari in the 88th minute of the match. Ceballos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Coihueco FC had controlled the match.
